REGULUS AI EVK#
Product Summary#

The REGULUS AI EVK is the official evaluation kit for the REGULUS AI SoC. It delivers 10 TOPS (INT8) of AI inference performance at an 8 W TDP, and is the reference platform for developing and validating applications on REGULUS.
The EVK consists of two boards: the MLM-1 SoM with the REGULUS SoC, mounted on a 100 × 110 mm carrier board that provides camera, display, Ethernet, USB, UART, audio, and debug interfaces. Applications developed on the EVK carry over to a product built on MLM-1 SoM without changes.
Hardware (Host System) Prerequisites#
The REGULUS AI EVK is a standalone system. It boots and runs applications on its own, so a separate host system is not required.
However, to operate the system effectively:
Use a DC +12 V power supply
Optional: connect a MIPI camera or other data source through the I/O ports
Optional: connect a host PC through Ethernet or the USB Type-C UART port for remote access and file transfer
Software Prerequisites#
The REGULUS AI EVK ships with Linux and Mobilint’s SDK qb modules preloaded, so it boots ready to run AI applications. Applications, including those that use the Vision DSP, run directly on the board.
